Country Club Host/Hostess

Do you have an outgoing personality and love to speak with people? Kings Creek Country Club is seeking a fun and positive Host/Hostess to join our team for the summer season! Come work in an upscale casual country club setting, where you'll get the chance to host large scale events, themed parties, and many more fun occasions!

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and dressed in the appropriate uniform, maintaining a neat, clean and professional appearance.
• Know table numbers and the layout of the restaurant floor.
• Have an understanding of all events happening at the club, and be a knowledgeable resource to answer or direct member questions.
• Know member names and address them appropriately.
• Answer the phone with a bright, cheerful, and upbeat greeting.
• Ensure that work area and tables are clean and set correctly.
• Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
• Take reservations and organize bookings so that appropriate seating arrangements can be made and members can be assigned to the tables they choose.
• Change, update, and stock menus daily at the host area.
• Open doors for and interact with members as the enter and leave the restaurant.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor on duty.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand in one place for long periods of time.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.
• Clearly and effectively communicate with members and other team members.
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Work required standing and walking for prolonged period of time on a primarily level surface, though occasionally slippery floor.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and occasionally lift or move 10-50 lbs.
• Requires communicating with other staff members, which includes talking, hearing and visual acuity sufficient to perform these major functions.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
