Country Club Swim Coach

Join our team in a collaborative, relaxed, and fun environment to provide swim coaching for our Club Swim Team, as well as 1:1 swim lessons throughout the Summer of 2023.

What you'll be doing:

• Engage with swim team members in a way that builds a relationship of trust and communication.
• Attend all assigned practices, competitions, meetings, and trainings throughout the season.
• Create, supervise, and deliver practice sessions that teach competitive swimming skills and prepare swimmers for competition.
• Set up and break down for daily practices.
• Prove 1:1 swim lessons for team members who are interested.
• Create a positive program environment with encouragement, goal setting, and reinforcement.

What we're looking for:

• Part time availability about 10 - 15 hours per week.
• Minimum age of 16 years old.
• Previous participation, instruction, or coaching experience in competitive swimming.
• Must be knowledgeable in a variety of techniques; be flexible, patient, enthusiastic, and well organized.
• Ability to complete certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to stand and swim for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Moderate to loud noise level in the work environment.
• Requires communicating with other staff members, which includes talking, hearing and visual acuity sufficient to perform these major functions.
